2010 Highlights!

It was another rewarding and exciting show season for us in 2010. Our beautiful doe, SGCH Forrest-Pride EC Greta Garbo was the AGS Lamancha National Champion!

She also had several Best of Breed wins and Best Udder wins, including the Best Udder of Show at the 2010 Missouri State fair.   This doe is just wonderful!

Her daughter, Nut-n-Honey Vintage Merlot also won the Jr Champion Lamancha at the Missouri State Fair!!

We have added a new sable to our herd, Jen-Mae-Ka Tori. She has her Jr Championship along with LaMancha doeling, Frisco Acres Twinkie.   Tori and Twinkie will be kept dry for this year.

We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to competing again next year.

2009 Highlights!

Thanks Allena for snapping this picture!
We had another fun filled summer showing the herd, Greta Garbo really came on strong this year, she was selected for Best Udder at several shows, including the 2009 Missouri State Fair and the District 5 LaMancha speciality show at MOKan Memorial Day weekend!

Travis was undefeated in Showmanship at all 5 shows he participated in.

2008 Highlights!

Here are a few highlights of our herd placings and excitement in 2008... We had a fun year and expect 2009 to be all that and more!

CH Forrest Pride Spooky Angel

2008 was a very good year for our herd.   We finished 2 does, one was Travis' doe, CH Forrest-Pride Spooky Angel and the other was CH Forrest-Pride EC Greta Garbo.   I couldn't be more pleased.

Several of our young does earned their dry legs in some stiff competition.   We try to attend 5 to 6 shows each year. I am very pleased with the 2008 show season.

Travis in a Showmenship Class with Angel
We also attended the 2008 ADGA National Show in Louisville, Ky.   It is always such a wonderful experience to see so many quality animals all under one roof. This was our 2nd time exhibiting at a National show, Travis did very well in several of the youth events.   He was on the 2nd place fitting team and he also placed 5th in his showmanship class.

2007 Highlights!

Here are a few highlights of our herd placings and excitement in 2007... We had a fun year and expect 2008 to be all that and more!

Forrest Pride Greta Garbo was the ALC All American Dry yearling. GG also went on to win a Reserve Grand and was picked for Sr. Grand Champion at the Ozark Empire fair.

We had 2 AI buck kids place on the Young Sire development list:
NUT-N-HONEY TD ALL THAT JAZZ and NUT-N-HONEY TD DANCE FEVER

Sables are a new addition to the herd for 2007! The beautiful chocolate doeling that we got from Klisse Foster, has been a real treat to show this year, she was 2x Best Jr. Doe in Show and several times Grand or Reserve.  Travis was the Premier Sable Exhibitor at the 2007 Missouri State Fair.
Forrest Pride Spooky Angel, Travis's Showmanship doe, was Reserve to GG at Ozark Empire.   She was also Best Udder of Breed, youth division, '07 Missouri State Fair.

Travis was named Outstanding 4H Exhibitor at the 2007 Ozark Empire fair, placing Sr. Grand Champion with Angel and Jr. Grand Champion with his home bred AI doeling, Frisco Acres RDF Sunfire.

This was the first year that we traveled to Kansas and showed at the Purina Classic in Tonganoxie, it was a wonderful experience with an exceptional group of youth exhibitors.

Travis and Firefly at the 2005 Missouri State Fair.
Firefly was named Best Doe in show and Best Udder in Show - 4-H division.
